Make A Template
When creating a new form you can choose to either start with a blank form or an existing template.
Make a template. In the save template pop up modal type a name for your template. When you create a template add any content to the slide master in slide master view that you want to protect from being changed by users of your template such as instructional prompt text logos header and footer information subject matter content a background formatting colors fonts and effects. To save a file as a template click file save as. Add any elements you like such as a business name and address a logo and other elements.
You can also create your own custom word template. Note that you can also save a template for use on different devices using your personal onedrive folder. You can also choose specific fonts font sizes and font colors. Your new template will be available for you to use on the templates page or under saved templates in the content section of the campaign builder.
Best practice for creating a template. To begin we need a form that will later be copied for our template. Type a name for your template in the file name box. For a basic template click the template item in the save as type list.
Templates can be based on existing documents you have already created or can be downloaded from word and other third party websites. Creating a template in microsoft word can be useful and time saving when you plan on using the same style of document repeatedly on a consistent basis. Those new documents contain all the text and images and other content that the template contains. They also have all the same page layout settings sections and styles as the template.
In the left rail select new blank document. When you save a document as a template you can then use that template to create new documents. On the ribbon select file. Create a form to use as template.
